The inaugural meeting of the Strategic Political and Defence Committee under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye began in Istanbul on Monday. Pakistan’s delegation comprises Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif.
