Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday that US sanctions imposed on Iran were unilateral, amid ongoing efforts to address tensions between Washington and Tehran. The spokesperson said Qatar supported mediation efforts aimed at resolving the issue, reaffirming Doha’s backing for diplomatic efforts to ease tensions.
