The bodies of four climbers were located on Friday after at least 10 mountaineers, including renowned Nepali mountaineer Nims Dai, went missing following an avalanche on Broad Peak in Pakistan’s Karakoram mountain range a day earlier. Search and rescue operations were underway for the remaining six missing mountaineers, sources at the Broad Peak base camp said. Among those missing is Nepali mountaineer Nirmal Purja, 43, who holds the record for the fastest ascent of the world’s 14 highest mountains, the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) said.
