Several Israeli media outlets, as well as CNN and Axios, are reporting that US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth is due to arrive in Israel today and meet with PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz. The reports say the trip is meant to placate Israel in light of the news that F-35 stealth fighters could potentially be sold to Turkiye.
