HE Lorenzo Fontana, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Italy, has praised Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting peace, dialogue, and diplomatic engagement amid ongoing tensions in the Gulf region. In a letter addressed to National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the Italian parliamentary leader acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts toward de-escalation, regional stability, and peaceful resolution of conflicts during a period of heightened tensions.
