Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, held separate meetings with top Iranian leadership, including President Masoud Pezeshkian and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf in Tehran, the state broadcaster reported. The field marshal reached Tehran on Friday as part of ongoing mediation efforts to end the US-Israel war on Iran, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
