On Oct 18, Colin Powell, the first Black US secretary of state and the top military officer died of Covid-19 complications at the age of 84. ‘He was fully vaccinated,’ his family announced on Facebook. Under the presidency of Ronald Reagan, he served as national security adviser of the US from 1987 to 1989.
