Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said on Saturday that the government has implemented a “zero-tolerance policy” against illegal immigration, leading to a 47% decline in such cases. During a meeting with acting US Ambassador to Pakistan, Natalie Baker, the minister discussed expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest and further strengthening Pakistan-US relations. According to the ministry, both officials discussed enhancing collaboration to curb illegal immigration and improve pre-immigration clearance systems. They also agreed to expand cooperation in law enforcement training, particularly for police.
