There has been no immediate comment from Kyiv in regards to the killing of the Russian general. Historically, Kyiv has been reticent to comment on such events. But there have been killings of this nature inside Russia. Likewise, these kinds of attacks have also happened here in Kyiv. Over the summer, a colonel in Ukraine’s military was gunned down here in the capital, so we have seen some of this back and forth. For Ukraine, this is something that they have historically pulled off quite successfully if you look at operations such as Operation Spiderweb, where Ukraine planted many drones in the routes of cars that took out many Russian airplanes in airfields.
