Trump says good chance of ‘conclusive ending’ to Gaza war is weeks away

US President Donald Trump said a “good, conclusive ending” to Israel’s war in Gaza would be reached within the next two to three weeks. Mr Trump was speaking before a meeting in the Oval Office with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung. “I think within the next two to three weeks, you’re gonna have a pretty good, conclusive ending,” he said. He said that although the Hamas attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, should never be forgotten, the war in Gaza should end.
