A renewed Israeli military offensive has forcibly displaced almost 180,000 people in only 10 days through to May 25, the International Organisation for Migration said on Tuesday. “The Global Camp Co-ordination and Camp Management Cluster is deeply alarmed by the escalating humanitarian crisis resulting from the renewed Israeli military offensive across the Gaza Strip, which has forcibly displaced almost 180,000 people between May 15 and May 25,” the organisation said in a statement.
