Israel carried out a series of strikes on southern Lebanon on Thursday, with heavy bombardments reported around the Nabatieh region, north of the Litani River. Videos and images shared online showed plumes of black smoke billowing from several sites. Israel has continued to strike what it says are Hezbollah targets in Lebanon despite a fragile ceasefire agreed to in November. Lebanon has accused Israel of hundreds of breaches.
