The humanitarian response in Gaza is “on the verge of collapse”, amid an Israeli blockade on aid and six weeks of resumed attacks, the International Committee of the Red Cross said on Friday. The Red Cross field hospital in Gaza city is also running “dangerously low on food and emdical supplies”, with many basic and important materials already unavailable, it said.
