Palestinian children remain deprived of the most essential supplies and services, said the UN agency for children, as Israel continues to halt deliveries to the Gaza Strip amid a deadlock over a fragile ceasefire. “Far too often, children in the State of Palestine are the victims of this relentless conflict. Nearly all of the 2.4 million children living across the [occupied] West Bank, including East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip, are affected in some way,” Unicef Middle East and North Africa regional director Edouard Beigbeder said on Sunday.
