The UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, said its teams have responded to more than 15,000 cases that needed mental health and psychosocial support since a ceasefire began in Gaza on January 19. The teams also assist special cases referred from health centres and shelters, the agency said on X. It added that nearly 260,000 children have enrolled in UNRWA’s distance learning programme since January.
