A group of activists have staged a protest outside the US consulate in Jerusalem, calling for the release of the remaining 76 of the 251 Israeli captives in Gaza, according to The Times of Israel newspaper. The protest is organised by the Mishmeret 101 organisation, which draws inspiration from the non-violent protests staged by Mahatma Gandhi in India in the 1930s to fight British imperialism, the report said. The fifth swap of captives for Palestinian prisoners is due tomorrow and the protesters fear the recent explosive remarks by Trump could cause the exchange to be derailed.
