A Palestinian from the town of Meithalun in the south of Jenin was shot dead by Israeli forces during a raid on his house, the ruling Fatah party said in a statement on Sunday. The man, who was 40 years of age, belonged to the Palestinian Preventive Security agency, the statement said. His body is being held by Israeli forces. At least 20 other people were arrested across the West Bank in raids on Sunday, the official Wafa news agency reported. The arrests were in Al Khalil, Bethlehem, Tulkarm, Jarash, Ramallah and Jerusalem.
