US charity World Central Kitchen has said it was “pausing operations in Gaza at this time” after an Israeli air strike hit a vehicle carrying its workers. WCK said it was “heartbroken” by the attack. The group added said that it “had no knowledge that any individual in the vehicle had alleged ties to the October 7 Hamas attack”. The Israeli army previously said that it had killed a WCK employee who it said was a “terrorist” who had taken part in the October 7 attack on southern Israel last year.
