Islamic Jihad releases new clip of Israeli hostage Trupanov

Hamas’s ally Islamic Jihad has released a new clip of Israeli hostage Sasha Trupanov, who has been held in Gaza since the October 7, 2023 attack on Israeli communities. The militant group had released a first video earlier this week. Mr Trupanov, who was identified by his relatives in the first video on Monday, appealed to Aryeh Deri, leader of the Sephardi ultra-Orthodox party Shas, a member of Israel’s governing coalition, to help free him and the other hostages.
