Islamabad’s bike lane project has been scaled down to a 10-kilometer pilot along Margalla Road, from G-5 to F-10. Originally set to span 374 kilometers, the Rs. 2.8 billion project halted after 500 meters. City managers aim to test the feasibility of dedicated bike lanes before expanding, reflecting a cautious approach by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
