Israel’s security services said it dismantled a “network of spies” who were providing Iran with extensive information on the country, a police and intelligence service statement said. Seven Israeli nationals from the country’s north were paid hundreds of thousands of dollars, often facilitated through cryptocurrencies, to gather information for Iran on military bases, ports, the country’s Iron Dome missile defence system and energy infrastructure, read the statement from the Israeli police and Shin Bet, the domestic intelligence service.
