The secretary general of the International Maritime Organisation has reiterated calls for the release of the crew of the Galaxy Leader, seized by Houthi rebels in the Red Sea in November. Arsenio Dominguez demanded the “immediate and unconditional release” of the Galaxy Leader and its 25 crew. He added that “ships and seafarers must not be targeted for political reasons” and condemned the recent assault on the Greek oil tanker Sounion, which is now being towed to safety in the Red Sea.
