Eighteen people are confirmed to have been killed in an Israeli strike on a UN-run school in Nuseirat refugee camp yesterday. Another 18 were wounded in the attack on Al Jawni school, according to Gaza’s civil defence. Six employees of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees were among the dead. The agency’s director Philippe Lazzarini condemned the attack and “senseless violence” throughout Gaza.
