A Hamas delegation led by senior official Khalil Al Haya left Egypt for Qatar after a day of lengthy and intense talks with Egyptian mediators on a set of proposals to pause the Gaza war, sources familiar with the negotiations said on Tuesday. They said the delegation left late on Monday night after a series of meetings with officials from Egypt’s intelligence agency. While in Qatar, the delegation will be consulting with Hamas leaders in exile and inside Gaza on the latest proposals before the militant group formulates a final response.
