The Palestinian ministry of higher education condemned the Israeli bombing of Israa University in the Gaza Strip. It said that destroying the university is “a continuation of the [Israeli] destructive force targeting higher education institutions” and is “part of the criminal war it is waging against the Palestinian people”. “This destruction is a clear violation of all international laws, charters and norms that guarantee the protection of educational institutions and preserve their sanctity,” the ministry said.
