Israeli soldiers fired at a humanitarian aid convoy as it returned from northern Gaza along a route designated by the army, said Thomas White, Gaza director of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. “Our international convoy leader and his team were not injured but one vehicle sustained damage – aid workers should never be a target,” Mr. White said on X.
