About 65 percent of roads in the Gaza Strip have been damaged and destroyed due to the war, the UN Satellite Centre has said. At least 1,100km of roads have been destroyed while 350km are severely affected and 1,470km moderately affected. The findings are based on satellite images that were collected on May 29, said the agency on Monday.
