In the early hours of Friday, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake rocked areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Reports claimed that tremors were detected in Mansehra, Torghar, Battagram, and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The earthquake had a value of 4.2 on the Richter Scale, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s National Seismic Monitoring Centre.

The epicentre occurred 15 kilometres northwest of Balakot, in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
