Paris: Famous bishop Cardinal Jean-Pierre Ricard is among those who admitted to sexual abuse. The French Catholic Church has been mired in scandals, with a panel last year estimating that 330,000 children were sexually abused over 70 years. Now retired, the cardinal is 78-years-old. Archbishop Eric de Moulins-Beaufort, head of the French bishops’ conference, said all those accused would face disciplinary action.
