According to sources, NAB Zahir Shah, Director General Operations, has been authorised for the position of deputy chairman. The appointment of Zahir Shah has been authorised by President Dr. Arif Alvi.
After Hussain Asghar’s resignation on October 4, the position was left vacant. President Alvi had received the name of Zahir Shah from NAB Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal.
