China’s President Xi Jinping invited Russian leader Vladimir Putin to visit China this year. Mr. Xi extended the invitation to the Russian President before a second round of talks between the leaders in Moscow. “Yesterday, I invited President Putin to visit China this year, at a time that is convenient for him,” Mr. Xi said, during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
