US ambassador to Israel calls American’s death in West Bank a ‘terrorist act’

Mike Huckabee, the US ambassador to Israel, called the death of an American citizen at the hands of Israeli settlers a “criminal and terrorist act”. Sayfollah Musallat, 20, was beaten to death in the village of Sinjil, north-east of Ramallah. “I have asked Israel to aggressively investigate the murder of Saif Mussallet, an American citizen who was visiting family in Sinjil when he was beaten to death,” Mr Huckabee said on X. “There must be accountability for this criminal and terrorist act.” Mr Musallet was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and was visiting relatives in the West Bank.
