The UN Office for the High Commissioner for Refugees said initial information suggests two air strikes that killed at least nine Palestinians were “unlawful” killings. An Israeli soldier was also reportedly wounded. The organisation called for Israel to conduct a “prompt, independent and effective investigation” and said that the “unlawful killings of Palestinians must end”.
