On Friday, it emerged that Ukrainian officials celebrated the liberation of Kherson city and the west bank of the region. Yuriy Sobolevskyi, first deputy head of Kherson regional council, said on Telegram: “Kherson is unbreakable! Today free people were able to come to Svobody (Freedom) Square with the flags of Ukraine again, as it was when the enemy captured the city.”
