In the Kurram District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two Frontier Corps troops were killed in a cross-border incident.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations, a terrorist from Afghanistan attempted to pass the Pakistan-Afghanistan border fence in the Kurram area on the night of Tuesday and Wednesday.

Pakistani military intercepted them and engaged them, successfully preventing the terrorists’ attempt to enter Pakistan.

FC’s Lance Naik Asad and Sepoy Asif were killed in the exchange of fire. Asad, a Kurram native, was 24 years old, while Asif, a Lakki Marwat native, was only 21 years old.
