KARACHI: In October, Pakistan’s trade deficit grew by 109 percent to $3.775 billion, up from $1.803 billion the previous month, as imports more than tripled despite high regulatory taxes and a 100 percent cash margin on 114 import products.

In October 2021, the country’s exports increased by 17.5 percent year on year to $2.471 billion, up from $2.104 billion in October 2020.
