Islamabad: Kashmala Tariq, Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplaces ruled on Thursday that a senior official of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) would be expelled from service on accounts of sexually harassing a female employee and paying Rs 2 million in compensation to her. “Bringing all the pieces of evidence together, the complainant has confirmed her allegation of harassment at the workplace on November 11, 2019,” she said.
