Sumberwuluh: It emerged on Monday that almost 22 people had lost their lives and myriad are injured due to the eruption of Semeru volcano on Java island. The volcano activated again and spewed layers of ash. Multitudes were left missing during the calamity. “Semeru is one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia. Before and after the December 4 eruption, it will continue to be active,” Liswanto, the head of the Semeru Volcano Observatory, reported.
