New York: On Jan 12, it emerged that Britain’s Prince Andrew failed to persuade a U.S. judge to dismiss Virginia Giuffre’s lawsuit. She alleged that the Duke of York sexually abused her when she was a teenager. U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan said Giuffre could pursue claims that Andrew wounded her and deliberately caused her emotional distress.
