Manila: On Dec 17, The death toll from a typhoon that banged the Philippines surges to 12. President Rodrigo Duterte feared that it could ascend further as authorities analyze the havoc wreaked by one of the intensest tropical storms to hit the country. He said that he would visit ravaged central and southern areas on Saturday to observe the extent of the destruction.
