Islamabad: Pakistan reportedly received a $1 billion financing commitment from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A written guarantee in this regard would be expected in the ongoing week after Finance Minister Ishaq Dar put special request to the UAE officials, sources revealed. The UAE’s financing will pave the way for the release of $1.3bn pending tranche by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
