It is reported that Pakistan has closed its Chaman border across Afghanistan due to worsening security conditions in Afghanistan. The Interior minister closed the Friendship Gate at the Chaman border for commercial activities, and pedestrian traffic as well. Voice of America reported that Pakistan has taken a diplomatic step to prevent a civil war in Afghanistan after the sudden withdrawal of US troops.
