SEOUL: On October 28, Friday, North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) off its east coast. South Korea’s military reported the event while wrapping up nearly two weeks of major drills aiming at deterrence from its neighbour. Tensions between South Korea and North Korea are growing. The launch is the latest in a record year of tests, including short-range missiles, intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) and others.
