On Saturday in Karachi, Byram Avari and the Sindh chief minister launched the 2km Dinshaw B. Avari Road from Keamari Bridge to Khamees Gate, which cost Rs40 million.

Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Shah, Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab, Byram D. Avari and his entire family, as well as prominent members of the Parsi community, attended the ceremony.

The Dinshaw B. Avari road, also known as the ‘Gateway to Pakistan,’ connects the seaport to Karachi, including its industrial zones and up-country imports and exports. The route will aid in the seamless operation of freight traffic.
