Speaking on the sidelines of the 75th anniversary summit, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that NATO allies have begun the promised transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine to bolster its defences against Russia. “As we speak, the transfer of F-16 jets is under way, coming form Denmark, coming from the Netherlands,” Blinken said. The US-made aircraft had been promised to Ukraine, but its delivery had yet to be confirmed.
