On Friday, Myanmar’s military government had rejected a ruling to include only a non-political diplomat in a forthcoming regional summit. ‘The heads of state or government of Myanmar enjoyed equal and full rights to participate in summits of the ASEAN,’ junta’s foreign ministry announced.
