According to reports on Friday, the PPP has invited the MQM-P to join the provincial government and has agreed to grant the party four ministries, including local government.

According to a report in the Daily Jang, the two parties are discussing the power-sharing formula and the implementation of the deal signed ahead of the no-trust motion against then-Prime Minister Imran Khan in order to garner MQM-P support.

On Thursday, the two sides attended a consultative meeting at the MQM-Bahadurabad P’s headquarters, where they addressed problems such as the local government law and the current water crisis in Sindh, particularly in Karachi.
