Manila: On Jan 31, the Manila mayor running for the Philippines presidency promised ‘zero tolerance of Chinese maritime aggression’. He also said that he would not hesitate to push Beijing to abide by international law if he wins this year’s election. Francisco Domagoso, 47, also announced that he would give a guarantee to Philippine fishermen to operate in the South China Sea “unharmed, unhampered, and without disruption”.
