Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said that the siege on Gaza must be lifted and its residents protected by the international community. “We stress the necessity of establishing a Palestinian state and implementing international legitimacy resolutions. The international community must work to achieve a comprehensive and just peace in the Middle East,” Prince Faisal said at a meeting of foreign ministers of members of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation.
