In a single day, 28 new Omicron cases were reported in Lahore, the capital of Punjab, bringing the total number of cases of the novel COVID-19 strain to 271 in the city.
According to provincial health department authorities, there have been 280 Omicron cases found in Punjab, with 271 instances reported from Lahore.
